Arrival and Dismissal
Arrival: Doors open at 7:15 AM.
Dismissal: 3:15 PM
Dismissal Procedures
- Upon enrollment, parents must identify how they will pick up their student for dismissal.
- All students will have an assigned dismissal number indicated on their dismissal tag. Dismissal spreadsheets are used to input numbers that notifies staff members that the student is to be released to the appropriate area.
- Parents MUST have a dismissal tag to pick up a student. If they do not have a dismissal tag, they must report to the front office with a picture ID to pick up their student.
- All students will remain in their classrooms until they are dismissed and escorted to their designated dismissal area at the scheduled time.
- HOV/Daycare – will be dismissed from the gym in the circle drive behind the building
- Daycare - Parents who have a student attending daycare must verify with the student’s teacher and the front office
- HOV (High Occupancy Vehicles) – For vehicles picking up 4 or more students
- East/West Side Walkers:
- East Side Walkers - will be dismissed from side of building next to Faustina Academy
- PK-2nd dismissed from door 6
- 3rd-5th grade dismissed from door 2
- West Side Walkers - will be dismissed from door
- Students who walk home independently (no parent picks them up) may be released at 3:20 when car traffic lessens. The staff member on duty will check off students as they leave for the day.
- Students who walk home with a parent will be escorted to their designated area and wait until their number is input. The escort will check off students as they leave for the day. By 3:30, if a walker is not picked up, take them to the office.
- East Side Walkers - will be dismissed from side of building next to Faustina Academy
- Car riders:
- Vehicles for car rider pick up will drive through the front driveway with two lanes available (inside and outside lane).
- Dismissal tags must be placed on your dashboard so your car tag number can be entered.
- Car riders will be escorted to their designated classroom determined by grade level teams at and wait for their number to be entered. Students will be escorted to their cars.
- Parents must wait in their car until their student is escorted to their vehicle.
- Students not picked up by 3:30 will be brought to the library.
- Parents will not be allowed to pick up after 2:30 unless there is an emergency.
